Nori evening raised £260                   


Thank you to everyone who supported the fantastic talk on Friday 22nd March all about the Nori bricks and the delicious Pie and Peas supper that followed (provided by Truly Scrumptious).  The £260 raised will go towards the fund raising for the heating project.

The Parish Church of St John’s Read and St Peters, Simonstone Hymn Book Appeal

The time has come to renew our tired, damaged hymn books with a more modern hymn book. After deliberation the Hymns Ancient & Modern 3 has been chosen  Please can you donate a minimum of £10 for one book. We need to replace 125 books, including books for the choir, so your donation will be greatly appreciated. Please pick up an appeal envelope in church or contact Peter Collinge or John Aizlewood who can also take contactless payments.
